General Quiot du Passage and General Marcognet - 28mm

General Joachim Jerome Quiot du Passage (on the right) and General Louis Binet de Marcognet (on the left). Both Perry Miniatures and come in the command pack with Prince Jerome Bonaparte. Lovely models to paint. The names of both are inscribed on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris:

  2. Another great looking set of figures.

Can I make a suggestion, your photos are usually underexposed. This is easily fixed in Picasa Web (where google holds all your photos on your blog). If you go in there and select a photo, you will see a drop down tab called actions. Click this and select Edit in Creative Kit. Here you can easily fix the exposure and tune up your photo.

I am not trying to be an arse, but your figures look great, it would be nice though if they were a little better exposed.

    1. No problem. Thanks for the suggestion John. I'm struggling with an old camera at the moment until I get a new one in a few weeks. But I'll play around with Picasa web in the meantime!

  3. Very nice, I just painted these two a few days ago myself. By the way, want to thank you for the idea of painting Jerome in his court dress. I stole it from you shamelessly.

    1. Cheers! I've been on the lookout for different uniforms regarding the command figures again. I currently need some Generals for my Italian Brigade. I'll post them up as soon as they're finished.
